- Under limited supervision, the Staffing Coordinator performs a variety of tasks to support the scheduling and deployment of staff resources in response to the COVID-19 surge at UMMS hospitals and the Medical Field Station (MFS) at the Convention Center. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for performing daily staffing activities for all resources available.

- Allocates staff according to acuity, volume and staff capabilities to all UMMS facilities and the MFS.
- Generates and maintains records and reports relevant to staffing and scheduling.
- Prepares and checks daily staffing report for all areas and compares staffing needs against the request submitted for each facility.
- Maintains accurate telephone lists of key resources at each facility and accurate data in systems e.g. sick calls, scheduling changes and deployment.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred.
- One year of related experience required. Two years preferred.
