Trump International Golf Club - Club Prato is looking for a Pastry CDP to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- A strong foundation in baking and pastry techniques is essential. This includes knowledge of ingredient functions, mixing methods, dough preparation, and baking temperatures and times.
- Ability to create and adapt pastry recipes to meet specific dietary requirements or preferences. This involves understanding ingredient substitutions, portion scaling, and recipe testing.
- Proficiency in producing a variety of pastries, desserts, bread, and cakes. This includes knowledge of techniques such as tempering chocolate, making custards, creating laminated dough, and working with sugars and fondants.
- Developing skills in artistic plating and presentation techniques and menu development
- Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent time management skills.
- Precision and attention to detail when working with pastry.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene is essential
- Effective communication and teamwork are vital for smooth kitchen operation.
- Demonstrating a genuine passion for pastry and an eagerness to experiment with new flavors, textures, and techniques
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or any related field.
- English – proficiency in spoken and written English
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Pastry CDP
- Previous experience in 5-star hotels or stand-alone restaurants
- Knowledge of food health & safety regulations and kitchen product use knowledge.
- Must possess excellent organizational & time management skills along with effective communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
