We have been working on WordPress for more than a decade, delivering great projects in Greece and abroad. Our team of designers, web developers, creative directors and account managers have great experience and will welcome the new team member, helping him/her adopt our design philosophy and attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function
- Working with the design team
- Designing and building the website front-end
- Creating the website architecture
- Troubleshooting content issues
- Conducting WordPress training with the client
- Monitoring the performance of the live website
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
- Generating and customising WordPress themes and plugins
- Conducting website performance tests
Working hours
- Full-time employment, Monday to Friday
- Working hours are typically 8 hours a day
- Extra hours are likely when deadlines are approaching
Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer (minimum 2 years)
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Ability to project manage
- Ability to harmonically work in a team
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of all modern SEO techniques
- Understanding of web server operation and experience in common web server processes such as web hosting account management, DNS Zone editing, FTP protocol, HTTP protocol etc.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and similar platforms
- Fluency in English
- Excellent use of computers, tablets and smartphones (Windows, iOS and Android environments)
- Excellent use of email clients (Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Windows Mail etc.) and Microsoft Office platform (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Positive energy, passion for creativity and a big smile on your face
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field will be highly appreciated but is not considered as necessary.
Work experience
A minimum of 2 years previous experience is necessary.
