Full time permanent classroom position. Duties to commence September 5, 2023.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Engage professionally with colleagues, families and communities.
- Demonstrate the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices.
- Provide evidence of how to shape a safe and positive learning environment for students and families
- Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity
- Provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices
QUALIFICATIONS:

Coastal Labrador Supplement - For teachers residing in certain coastal communities only. The value of this supplement is $5,000 (prorated depending on start of position), payable in two installments (December and June). To be eligible for this supplement, teachers must be on a full-time continuing contract and must reside in the community for the duration of the contract period. Locations for Coastal Labrador Supplement include Nain; Hopedale; Makkovik; Postville; Rigolet; Black Tickle; Cartwright; Charlottetown; Mary’s Harbour; Pinsent’s Arm; Port Hope Simpson; St. Lewis; Mud Lake
