YOUR IMPACT
We’re looking for a curious, hungry, and passionate Commercial Account Executive to join our rapidly growing Managed File Transfer (MFT) Business. You will be responsible for driving new sales of our MFT products - JSCAPE and Cerberus FTP. This is an inside sales role largely focused on working a robust inbound lead pipeline - with the expectation that all great AEs also prospect themselves - where you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure new business wins. No two days will be alike as you develop trusted relationships with potential customers - find compelling solutions for their problems, negotiate pricing, navigate technical conversations, and close deals.
- Sell to new MFT clients, working with them to understand their business challenges, create compelling propositions for change, deliver proposals, and ensure successful delivery with excellent client satisfaction.
- Build strong partner relationships and consult with customers to find solutions to problems they are facing.
- Conduct discovery and negotiation calls for prospective customers.
- Engage meaningfully about our solutions with mid-level and senior management.
- Exceed customer expectations and provide support to the team.
- Collaborate with internal team members, including support and technical team members.
- Attend forecast calls and perform pipeline analysis to validate forecast accuracy.
- Responsible for the revenue and bookings achievement towards the existing accounts, ensuring maximization of margin, leveraging the Redwood Software approach to delivery.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Required: Experience as an SDR or BDR selling a technical SaaS product
- Nice to have: AE or inside sales experience, preferably in enterprise software
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
- Experience with sales tools such as Salesforce and Outreach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with technical topics
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work in small and large groups effectively.
- Strong strategic thinker; able to formalize strategies and solutions with clients; analyze needs.
- Experience in client account management
