Job Description
Work in close relationship with External Auditors and the reporting team of Group Companies;
Provide guidance and supervision to related departments on accounting and reporting issues;
Ensure accurate, high quality IFRS adjustments according to IFRS and Group requirements;
Follow up the Group updates on accounting policies and assess the effects on our financials, communicate those effects to related parties;
Assist the consolidation process including the recording of consolidating entries, reconciliation of intercompany and investment in subsidiary transactions;
Coordinate additional reporting activities if required;
Give support to external audit companies;
Produce group financial reporting to management within deadlines;
Provide explanations and analytical review of group financials;
Review closing journal entries and accruals.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or closely related fields;
- Have minimum 3-4 years experience at independent audit firms (preferably Big 4 audit companies);
- Written and oral fluency in English is a must (Spanish, Portuguese as a second language is preferred);
- Strong knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS/TFRS and auditing in accordance with ISA/BDS and good understanding of IFRS/TMS reporting;
- Preferably has a CPA (SMMM) Certificate;
- Professional knowledge of ERP Programs (preferably SAP);
- Professional knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Excel and Power Point);
- Strong facilitation, presentation, reporting and research skills;
- A 'can do' approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description;
- Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment;
- Have customer, quality, process and result driven approach;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks according to deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels;
- Good team player with strong problem solving and negotiation skills;
- Able to travel abroad when required;
- Completed military service for male candidates.
