Job Description:

As a Service Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative and user-centered services. Your primary responsibility will be to understand user needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop compelling service experiences. You will employ a human-centered design approach, combining empathy, research, and creativity to design solutions that meet and exceed user expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user and stakeholder research to identify needs and opportunities for service improvement
  • Develop service concepts and prototypes that meet user needs and business objectives
  • Work with the team to create service blueprints, user journeys, and other design deliverables
  • Test and refine service concepts and prototypes through user and stakeholder feedback
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure technical feasibility and implementation
  • Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with clients and stakeholders
  • Communicate design solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Service Design, Interaction Design, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in service design or related field
  • Proficiency in user-centered design methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient in prototyping tools and usability testing methods.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to generate innovative solutions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to gather insights and translate them into actionable design recommendations.
  • Bring an optimistic and entrepreneurial mindset to your work.
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian
