Title: Store Manager

Location: Auckland

Job Type: Permanent full-time, 30 hours minimum

We at Matt and George Trade Limited T/A Hell Pizza Birkenhead are looking for a Store Manager to join our team and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Bracket: NZ$27-32 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the outlet in an effective and efficient manner while maintaining superior customer service and satisfaction
  • Provides direction to the team during the acts as a coach and mentor, role modelling the expectations of customer service.
  • Coach, educate and motivate the team to maintain a high-quality customer service experience
  • Provides leadership within the recognizing and motivating the team to achieve operational excellence
  • Coach assistant managers and supervisors through people management activities to assist them with the development and practice of their skills
  • Constantly monitor staffing levels and recruit proactively utilizing available tools and systems to ensure sound selection of candidates
  • Ensure cleaning and maintenance schedules are followed to maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the outlet in general
  • Build sales and maximize profits by effectively interacting, developing, and communicating our company and customer expectations to the entire team
  • Perform cost control procedures, prepare financial accounting and reporting, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and efficient labour management.
  • Accountable for scheduling all outlet staff and delivery driverstaking into consideration, sales history, trends and daily labour
  • Manage food costs to within targeted variance
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
  • Identifies opportunities for sales building through community involvement
  • Executes local store marketing initiatives to build brand awareness and loyalty
  • Make great Pizza!


Preferred Requirement(Not Mandatory):

  • High school or College Diploma
  • 1-3 years of management or customer service experience
  • Experience in the fast-food service industry is considered an asset
  • Superior customer service knowledge, skills and abilities
  • An effective communicator coupled with the ability to coach and develop team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with effective decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
