Position - HEAD OF INVESTMENT ADVISORY - Private Banking & Wealth Management
For our client, a leading international private bank headquartered in Luxembourg, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as the Head of Investment Advisory. This is a unique opportunity to lead our investment advisory division and contribute to the success of our esteemed clients. Location: Luxembourg
Salary estimate: 150K plus bonus and comprehensive benefits (outside of Banking Convention but with full benefits)
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to our investment advisory team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional advice and solutions to our clients.
- Develop and execute the overall investment advisory strategy in alignment with the bank's objectives and client expectations.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and other key stakeholders to identify market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks to optimize our clients' portfolios.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, delivering personalized investment advice and customized financial solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices to ensure the bank's investment advisory services are in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of the advisory team, set performance targets, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the investment advisory division.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree such as an MBA or CFA designation is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in private banking, investment advisory, or a similar role within the financial industry, with a minimum of 7 years in Investment Advisory and 3 years in a leadership
- In-depth knowledge of private banking products, investment strategies, and financial markets.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to private banking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to clients and team members.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Client-centric mind set with a passion for delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships.
