The Job

The post-production internship will be a 3-6 month assignment, with the opportunity to extend, supporting CNN’s inhouse brand studio Create.

The selected candidate will work with the APAC Create production team, supporting particularly the editor and post-producer and the creative production lead, in all post-production matters.

The intern will get to work within a creative production environment supporting the production of branded content for CNNIC’s commercial partners. The candidate should have a keen understanding of international media as well as an interest in commercial production. They should have proven experience in editing software and a keen interest and understanding of film production.

The Daily

  • Assist with offline video editing of branded content and marketing films.
  • Support online editing including color grading and sound mixing
  • Support with storyboarding and scripting
  • Help to sort and archive footage
  • Source stock music and footage
  • Motion graphics is a plus

The Essentials

  • Studying towards a bachelor degree in media, film, television, cinema or related disciplines

  • Must be eligible to work in HK without sponsorship

  • Must be passionate about content marketing, creative production, and visual storytelling

  • Ability to work to deadline and under time pressure

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong ability with editing software such as adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.

  • Must be fluent in English
