Within this role, the Resourcing Manager - Executive Search will lead on establishing a robust Luxury & Lifestyle General Manager (GM) pipeline to support our ambitious development plans. This includes partnering with key stakeholders, leading on the Luxury and Lifestyle social media plan and actively reengaging our alumni network with our brands.

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:
- To lead the set up and management of a robust and dynamic talent bank that enables us to move fast with shortlists of external candidates to supplement internal candidates and ensures a diverse slate of qualified candidates versus our Success Profiles.
- Creating a contact strategy for the L&L Talent Bank that informs potential General Managers of the latest developments within our brands and instigates an on-going relationship with candidates.
- To set up and lead an alumni network of former IHG L&L leadership talent, re-engaging them with our brands, growth agenda and opportunities.
- Build and maintain external candidate pools for the assigned segments
- Drive usage of myRecruit (or local job board connections) in CMH
- Strategic supply and demand partnering with identified Regions/ Divisions, linking internal and external talent banks to create a diverse shortlist or identify the need for search.
- Grow and manage trusted relationships with key stakeholders, through a detailed knowledge of supply and demand using analytics that shows pipeline, pipeline status, appointments, process pitfalls.
- Execution of the Luxury & Lifestyle GM social media plan, partnering with the Employer Brand team to ensure our “always on” social media presence is driving interest in IHG and generating high calibre, diverse candidates for specific vacancies and the Talent Bank.
- Building Talent Acquisition leadership capability for our Operational leaders to effectively leverage their networks and LinkedIn/social platforms, attracting Luxury & Lifestyle GM talent to IHG and evaluating its impact.
- Demonstrate an understanding of each brand, it’s brand standards, culture and hallmarks, enabling the selling of opportunities and accurately assessing to match GM’s with roles that match their experience, preferred ways of working and leadership style.
- Monitoring and maintaining systems e.g. Applicant Tracking System (ATS), LinkedIn qualifying and funnelling candidates to global vacancies or the Luxury & Lifestyle Talent Bank.
- Generating the Luxury & Lifestyle GM recruitment dashboard to provide insights on pipeline, impact of campaign activity and gender diversity.
- Identifying events, media and channels for IHG Luxury & Lifestyle to participate and market our opportunities through our local markets.
What we need from you
- A combination of education and work-related experience.
- Extensive Talent Acquisition experience in-house, and ideally agency/search.
- Experience or working in/with Luxury & Lifestyle hospitality or comparable brands.
- International sourcing and recruitment experience.
- Experience of using multiple sourcing strategies for challenging to fill roles.
- Digital marketing understanding & deployment.
- Extensive networks and contacts within the hotel industry.
- Inclusive and unbiased recruitment skills, use of strategies and tools that enable diverse hiring.
- Effective consulting, presentation, influencing and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to navigate and utilize job boards and interface systems including LinkedIn.
- In depth knowledge of acquisition principles, systems and processes.
- Delivery of assessments.
- Social media savvy and overt presence in candidate markets.
- Analytical and creation of data led stories and insight.
- Experience in Behavioral Interviewing and interpreting psychometric evaluations.
- Experience in utilizing an Applicant Tracking System.
- Ability to work across multiple business units.
