Topsoil Organics based in Forbes NSW is seeking a highly motivated person to join their team based in Queensland's Dalby region. The successful applicant will be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment using a variety of farm equipment from loaders, tractors, excavators and spreaders. The position will require a comprehensive understanding of general farming procedures, machinery, and equipment maintenance.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a passion for farming, agriculture & environmental sustainability.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Tractor operations
- Spreader operations
- General Machinery maintenance and upkeep of all plant
- A strong focus on WH&S requirements & record keeping
Essential criteria:
- Experience working with heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, telehandlers, tractors and spreaders.
- Experience in using GPS (Topcon & Trimble systems)
- Willingness to look after equipment including filling out pre starts etc.
- Construction White Card (or state equivalent).
- Proven commitment to workplace safety, health, and environmental responsibilities.
Desired (but not essential) criteria:
- HR/HC licence.
