Job Description
(A) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Auditing production, assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations. Keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations
2. Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site
3. Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe and apply the certificate of fitness
4. Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the company.
5. Ensure Safety and Health policies, arrangement and working practices fully adhere to regulations including conducting relevant test such as Chemical Exposure Monitoring, Chemical, Health Risk Assessment, Stack Monitoring, Local Exhaust Ventilation and other relevant test.
6. Coordinate and monitor schedule waste activities
(B) AUTHORITY
1. Conduct training on safety & health
2. Coordinate meeting on safety & health as required by DOSH
3. Review request for Personal Protective Equipment
(C) ACADEMY REQUIREMENT
1. At least a Diploma holder in safety & health line or equivalent education.
2. Minimum of 3 years working experience in safety & health line or equivalent level ; Green Book holder is a must
3. Certified Safety & Health coordinator
4. Certified in Schedule Waste is an added advantages.
5. Good knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 & ISO 45001 will added advantage.
6. Good command of spoken and written English is MUST.
7. Good presentation and analytical skills are required.
8. Work irregular hours to accomplish urgent/pending assignments when requested.
(D) MUST HAVE SKILLS
1. Health, Safety, Regulations, Training, Education, Risk Assessment, Analysis, Auditing, Inspection, Communication, Corporate Responsibility and Schedule Waste
2. Proficient in Microsoft office applications
3. The ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities.
(E) GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS
1. Good physical condition
2. Ability travel
3. Good interpersonal & communication skill
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM2,999.00 per month
