- Short and long term market developments;
- Developing tools to improve our abilities to conduct in-depth analyses for the dynamics in energy markets;
- Customer connections
- Help with the development of congestion management measures, balancing instruments and ancillary services;
- Contributing to internal and external working groups, for example in the framework of ENTSO-E.
Your contribution to TenneT
We offer you an 18 month individual trainee program. The Customers & Markets unit will serve as your home basis, where at least one of your 6 months assignment will be conducted. At least one assignment can be completed within another unit. The different assignments will give you an insight into the challenges we face as an organization and allow you to build a large personal and international network. It is also possible to do a more international oriented assignment. Next to your individual assignments, you will also work on your personal skills during a personal development program together with other trainees
During the trainee program, you will be guided by a program coordinator in the area of personal development. During your individual assignments, you will be supervised by colleagues from the corresponding departments and you will be in touch and work together with the other trainees.
Your profile and background
- You have successfully completed a university- or university of applied sciences degree and you are interested in the world of energy;
- You are open to new experiences and curious to get to know the diverse aspects of TenneT in working on matters of technics, society, economics and environment;
- You speak Dutch or are willing to learn the Dutch language. In addition, you are proficient in the English language;
- You like spending each assignment at a different TenneT department;
- You have preferably gained initial experience with vocational training, relevant internships or activities with for example a study association.
