The Change Manager will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Jacobs internal change management process for the KSIA project
- Establish the end-to-end Change Management Process with the client across all phases of the project, ensuring that the Change Management Process is correctly and consistently implemented across the entire project.
- Ensure that changes and issues are identified and recorded, review with respective technical teams and follow the established escalation process so that the full impact of the change is recognised, evaluated and issued for approval by the Project Director
- Once issued, the Change Manager shall ensure that the approval, rejection, or other actions are recorded on the change register and distributed / communicated to project team leaders for implementation.
- In cases where changes have multiple contract/project implication compile data from across work packages and / or contracts.
- The Change Management Process shall be administered utilizing the selected software application tool.
- The Change Manager will also be expected to formulate, agree, and communicate risk and/or compliance standards and strategies and monitor and oversee their implementation throughout the project life cycle.
- Conduct High Level Reviews of all Change Management Forms and Deliverables to Interrogate and Challenge if necessary
- Compile, update and manage change management logs and reports
- Prepare and administer Change Management for project specific changes as required
- Represent the Jacobs project team at Change Committees
- Provide support to project commercial staff as required
- Implement and manage project wide Change Management Process
- Consider improved methods of managing change and project KPIs
- Maintain a computerized cost report utilizing the selected application tool
- Present monthly reports to the Project Director / Steering group
- Interrogate Change Management Data at Contract and overall Project and level
Progressive experience in a similar field
- Commercial background in Construction Industry
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Excellent command of the English language with strong communication skills across a wide range of stakeholders
- Fully computer literate
- Team focused individual
- BS degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Discipline specific professional registration preferred (PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS)
