Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.
We are looking for a Migration Program Manager / Business Change Lead with a strong background in payments or financial services to form an integral part of our VMS team, supporting the successful execution of a major card migration program within an important Visa client in the Nordics. What we expect of you, day to day:
The Migration Programme Manager / Business Change Lead will manage the migration from as-is to target solution, applying strong and extensive experience from previous migration/transformation projects to execute and navigate in a sophisticated organisation and complex program structure.
- Drive the delivery of assigned tasks/projects in a professional and timely manner with high quality
- Manage the assigned team (Visa + client) and provide high level visibility of the programme, reporting progress
- Manage risk from identification to mitigation or risk acceptance
- Actively handle key partners to the assignment/project
- Developed solutions with a true entrepreneurial spirit. Ensure collaboration and overall integration between programme tracks
- Handling aspects of Data / Operation / Strategy / Business Development / Marketing / Sales / Product / Growth / Digital concurrently as necessary
- Understand our clients' business objectives, needs, plans, etc. together with the Nordics and Baltics Account Management Team
- See opportunities and improvements to grow the business of our clients
- Provide Thought Leadership knowledge and projects regarding the future of payment and retail banking to our client as needed
What we're after...
- Mid to senior level experience in retail banking and/or payment card industry and/or merchant retail business desirable.
- Ability to manage project team members, providing support, mentorship and direction to both direct and indirect reports (Visa and client)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, experienced operating in complex matrix operating structures
- Experienced in change management associated with migration programmes
- Proven understanding of Agile delivery techniques, methodologies, and standard processes. Hands-on experience with Waterfall and Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), ideally within SAFe environment
- SAFe Agile and/or Agile PM Certifications desirable
- Deep project/programme management and risk management
- High intellectual capability evidenced by excellent analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of tools and the use of data insights for business growth in a digital and technology-driven environment
- Excellent client relationship management skills (also on senior executive level and across all levels of an organisation)
- Excellent sales orientation, experience selling major projects/ideas to senior management
- Fluent in English and Danish/Finnish - both verbally and written
- High levels of integrity and business ethics
- Willingness to maintain professional development
Additional Information
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to be in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
